Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen french fries
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, sliced onions, sour cream
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine tomato soup, tomato sauce, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Add cooked ground beef mixture to the sauce and stir.
- Spread half of the frozen french fries in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the ground beef mixture over the french fries.
- Spread the remaining french fries on top of the ground beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
