Description
This Trader Joe’s ravioli hack transforms simple store-bought burrata-filled pasta into a restaurant-quality meal. Tossed with blistered cherry tomatoes, garlic, and basil, it’s creamy, fresh, and ready in minutes!
Ingredients
1 package Trader Joe’s Burrata Ravioli (or any burrata-filled pasta)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ravioli according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
3. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until blistered and softened, about 5–7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
4. Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet with a splash of reserved pasta water. Gently toss to coat in the tomato sauce.
5. Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil.
6. Serve immediately topped with grated Parmesan and an extra drizzle of olive oil.
Notes
Add a spoonful of pesto for an herby twist.
Top with extra burrata or ricotta for an ultra-creamy finish.
Pairs beautifully with a side salad and a glass of white wine.
