Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 Big Box Strawberry Jello Mix
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed (optional)

Directions:

1 In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
2 In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
3 Stir in the vanilla extract.
4 Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently toss to coat the cereal evenly.
5 In a separate bowl, combine the strawberry jello mix and powdered sugar.
6 Transfer the coated cereal to a large resealable plastic bag, then add the jello mix and powdered sugar mixture. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is fully coated.
7 Spread the coated cereal on a baking sheet to cool and harden. For an extra strawberry kick, sprinkle the crushed freeze-dried strawberries on top.

Once cooled, store in an airtight container and enjoy!
