Smoked Sausage and Potato Bake
Smoked Sausage and Potato Bake is a hearty, comforting dish made with tender potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and simple seasonings baked until golden and flavorful. It’s an easy one-pan meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.
Ingredients: 1½ pounds smoked sausage sliced into rounds, 2 pounds potatoes peeled and diced, 1 medium onion sliced, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon dried thyme, salt and black pepper to taste, and optional chopped parsley for garnish.
To prepare the bake, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or large baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine the sliced smoked sausage, diced potatoes, and onion. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and lightly browned.
Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
