Description
This Balsamic Glazed Chicken is the secret to transforming any weeknight dinner into a restaurant-worthy experience! Juicy, pan-seared chicken breasts are coated in a rich, tangy-sweet balsamic glaze infused with garlic and honey — quick, elegant, and bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp butter
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Stir in balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and Italian seasoning.
6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly.
7. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the glaze.
8. Add butter for extra richness and swirl until melted.
9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley, and drizzle with extra glaze.
Notes
Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal.
Try using chicken thighs for even juicier results.
The balsamic glaze can also be used on salmon, pork, or roasted Brussels sprouts.
