Creamy Milk Cake
Creamy Milk Cake is a soft, moist dessert with a rich dairy flavor and a delicate crumb. Made with simple pantry ingredients, this cake is lightly sweet, tender, and perfect for serving plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with fresh fruit. It’s an excellent choice for tea time, dessert, or special gatherings.
Ingredients: 1 cup whole milk, ½ cup unsalted butter, 1½ cups granulated sugar, 3 large eggs room temperature, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
To prepare the cake, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or square baking pan and set aside.
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter over low heat until the butter is fully melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mixing just until combined.
Slowly pour in the warm milk and butter mixture, stirring gently until the batter is smooth and well blended.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
