Crockpot Hot Dog Chili
Crockpot Hot Dog Chili is a rich, savory, no-bean chili made especially for topping hot dogs. Slow-cooked for maximum flavor, it’s smooth, slightly spiced, and perfect for cookouts, game days, or easy family meals.
Ingredients: 2 pounds ground beef, 1 small onion finely minced, 2 cloves garlic minced, 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce, ½ cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, 2 tablespoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar, salt and black pepper to taste, and ½ cup water.
To prepare the chili, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up very finely as it cooks. Drain excess grease. Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot.
Add the minced onion, garlic, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, chili powder, cumin, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, and water to the crockpot. Stir well to fully combine.
Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally. The chili should be thick, smooth, and well blended.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot over grilled or steamed hot dogs, or use as a topping for chili cheese fries or burgers.
